THE PROTOTYPE IN ACTION

Vision-guided picking

A collaborative project by Paride Fioretti and Ottorino Vendramelli.

The robot picks and moves discs using machine vision. The video shows the prototype on the test bench and a detail of its control interface. On-screen titles are in Italian.

Paride Fioretti

Senior Automation Software Engineer with over 35 years of experience in PLC, SCADA/HMI and the commissioning of automated machinery and production lines.

My professional career began in 1987 and has developed across industrial automation, software engineering, international commissioning and troubleshooting. Since 2021, I have worked independently through PAFTech.

I develop new applications and optimise, standardise and revamp existing software, working closely with mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
